Shelly Mitchell Lynch , as Owner/President of Carmel Realty Company, Shelly represents the fourth generation of the Mitchell Family to sell, invest and manage real estate in Carmel and on the Monterey Peninsula. Together with her parents, Bill and Vicki Mitchell, and her aunt, Hallie Mitchell Dow, Shelly proudly continues the family tradition in the local real estate business. 
 
A graduate of Stanford University (BA1989), Shelly has 20 years of marketing and sales experience in the technology (Xerox), biotech (Chiron) and entertainment (ABC/Walt Disney Co.) industries for Fortune 500 companies. Developing new markets, innovating new approaches and taking on new challenges is a passion. With 20 years of sales and major account management experience, Shelly has a winning track record in strategic selling, marketing and negotiating win-win deals. It is this experience, professionalism, work ethic and local knowledge that Shelly brings to the table every day to earn her success.
 
When The Mitchell Family sold their 40-year old, billion dollar real estate company, The Mitchell Group, to Sotheby’s International Realty in 2005, Shelly wanted to stay a local business owner and, together with her husband, bought Carmel Realty Company, Carmel’s premier property management and rental business. At the helm of Carmel Realty Company, and as one of the top sales teams at Sotheby’s, Shelly’s network, knowledge and inside track on properties gives her clients the critical edge required in today’s market. The synergy of Shelly’s local exposure to investments and sales, rentals and her global Sotheby’s network puts Shelly at the pulse of the real estate community.
 

Shelly’s family has been in Carmel for over 7 decades and it is her dream come true to be back in this idyllic setting. Her husband, Dan, is an avid golfer, technology executive and her business partner in Carmel Realty Company. He shares her passion for Carmel and the area and together, with their three children: Billy, Lucy and Parker, celebrate the unmatched quality of life here on the Monterey Peninsula.

 

William Bradford Dow, Broker of Record, exemplifies 40 years of real estate leadership on the Monterey Peninsula. Brad has experience in every aspect of the real estate practice from developer, contractor, Buyer, Seller, Investor, Manager, Principal ; he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Carmel Realty Company. Brad is very well-respected in the business and an incredible asset to the team.

Michael Bowery, heads up Carmel Realty's Commercial Real Estate Division. With over 15 years of  commercial experience on the Monterey Peninsula. He has brokered more commercial real estate transactions than almost anyone on the Peninsula. His vast network of  Owners, Buyers and Sellers gives him critical knowledge to deliver the right property at the right time to the right investor. Michael  specializes in intricate commercial sales and development projects, Hotel and Inn sales and commercial buildings and investments in Carmel and surrounding areas.

Andy Nygard,  Together with Jason Fuller, Andy leads Carmel Realty Company's Vacation Rental Division and Customer Relations. Andy is an expert at connecting people with properties to ensure a magical experience. This uncanny skill makes Andy a true professional.   Andy draws from her experience in the Hotel and Hospitality sector. Formerly in event planning, Concierge Services and Client Relations at Bernardus Lodge and various notable local restaurants and luxury brands,  Andy specializes in  Customer Service, Relationship Managment and Event Planning as a partner in our Vacation Rental Division.  Andy has been a resident on the Peninsula for 30+ years and has raised two sons locally. Her local network is extensive and critical to her success. It is Andy's meticulous attention to detail, great style and exceptional decision-making skills that gives Andy and Carmel Realty the critical edge needed to cater to the highest caliber clientele and deliver uncompromised, exceptional service. Andy is focused and committed to her work and is uncompromising in her follow through. Andy's broad experience has cultivated a powerful network to achieve the goals of our client owners and tenants.  Andy is smart, experienced, results-oriented, incredibly upbeat, positive and a superior member to our team. Andy is a Licensed Estate Manager and Realtor.

Jason Fuller, Together with Andy Nygard, Jason manages Carmel Realty Company's Vacation Rental Division and Customer Relations. A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Jason grew up in the inland empire, surrounded by agriculture business and has a wide network of contacts locally. Jason has exceptional business experience in sales, management, client services and administration in both agriculture and technology fields. Jason, a Licensed Realtor, came to us from luxury real estate company Sotheby's, which gave him inside knowledge and experience with luxury properties on the Peninsula.  Jason is committed to follow-through and has a results-driven, can-do attitude.

Kristi Bommarito, manages Carmel Realty's Long Term and unfurnished Rental Division.  Kristi comes with several years of property management experience which, combined with her local market knowledge, is a critical asset to her job. Kristi has a meticulous eye for detail and an uncompromised work ethic. Kristi's past experience in banking and the personal finance sector, translates into critical skills in managing our client's valuable assets. Born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula, Kristi also has a broad network that spans the area and intimate knowledge of the area that is invaluable in her daily work. Kristi's positive attitude and demeanor is a refreshing change from the industry norm of Property Management. She is focused, professional and committed to constant improvement of the profession, the homes she manages, our clients and tenants. Kristi exemplifies what a great Property Manager can achieve in a best practice environment. 

Marilyn MacKimmie, CPA, is a team member of Carmel Realty because she enjoys the dynamic environment. Combining her background of real estate and corporate accounting in such resort areas as Malibu, California; Steamboat Springs, Colorado; San Luis Obispo, California, she tackles the challenging field of accurate accounting for over 100 property Owners throughout the world. Accuracy and integrity are two words that are essential to Marilyn's work ethic. Marilyn is a true team member in attitude and practice in managing the financial process surrounding your property or your visit to one of our properties located on the Monterey Peninsula.
